2021 Writing Competition

Let's Get Down to Business!

What is Logan City to you? How do the local business impact your day-to-day life? What fascinating tales have you experienced that others need to know?

Have you seen a charming cafe that seemed to serve magical coffee? Did you have a chance meeting at the Plaza or the Dome that could only happen there? Did a local physio de-age grandma twenty years?

Have you got your own struggles as a business owner that you want to help others overcome? Have you got joys you wish people knew about when it came to your industry in particular?

This is your time and space to share that little tale of magic, wonder, joy or tragedy with all of Logan. This is your story about the business in Logan.

Whether you own a business or just frequently visit them, there is a tale to tell and we want to hear it!

The top twenty entries will go into a charming anthology, curtesy of InHouse Publishing, and be shared with all the winners, libraries, schools and Chambers of Commerce to celebrate the bridging of business and literature.

The top entrant will also be dubbed Logan Laureate for 2021 and bestowed a place on the annual plaque for the Logan Laureates.

Logan needs it's stories told, and it needs you to tell them.

Submit your entry before the 25th of August and come to the Logan Writers Festival to see the winners announced!
